Edgar homeros
Edgar Homeros is Stockholm through and through. Raised on old soul legends such as Stevie Wonder and Donny Hathaway, Edgar drew inspiration from contemporary acts like Mac Miller and Joji in the making of his debut-EP ‘Volatile’ - creating all his music on his own, writing, producing and recording out of his bedroom in characteristic solitude. Resulting in a unique sound, blending the harmonies and falsettos of eloquent R&B/soul with sample-driven indie pop-rhythm, Edgar’s debut-EP saw him nominated for accolades such as ‘Artist of the Future 2024’ at Sweden’s largest musical TV-gala P3 Guld.
In 2024 the artist shared his second EP ‘Crying Dove’ and started off with lo-fi track ‘Please Be Careful’. The seven track coming of age-project - released in May 2024 - contains the artists’ first collaborative efforts on the production side, and portrays both the gritty and the beautiful aspects of life as an adolescent in urban Stockholm - portrayed through the duality of urban pigeons and peaceful doves. With the project's final single, ‘Belong To The Wind’, Edgar pays tribute to his hometown - serving as a perfect segue to the EP itself.
