Roxane Elfasci
Roxane Elfasci the guitar virtuoso from Paris uploaded in 2016 her take on the classical composer Debussy's biggest hit Clair de Lune, which has amassed over 10 million views on Youtube with fans all over the world admiring her performance. Since then, she has been praised by tastemakers like BBC Radio 3 In Tune, Classical FM, International Arts Manager and was chosen as one of BBC Music Rising stars. She has also been supported by Spotify’s New Classical, Amazon Music’s Women of Guitar and featured in several guitar stations on Pandora. Roxane is a professional musician in classical guitar and has studied at schools such as the Aulnay-sous-Bois Conservatory and the Pôle Supérieur de Paris. In addition, she also has a degree in musicology from the Sorbonne University in Paris.
Roxane Elfasci released her debut album ‘Hommage á Debussy’ in 2021 where she paid tribute to the famous composer, and followed up with her second album ‘Poésie Française’ in 2023. It features previously unpublished arrangements for guitar - in solo or duo - of major works from the turn of the 20th century: Saint-Saëns's Cygne, Debussy's Valse Romantique, Gabriel Fauré's Romances sans paroles and Erik Satie's Gymnopédie n°1 and Valse-Ballet.
