Louise was featured as writer in the extremely popular TV event “Melodifestivalen” the Song Contest (Eurovision qualifications) already as student at Songwriting Academy “Musikmakarna” back in 2014, but in 2016 she embarked on a career with more focus on the Asian music market, and scored the debut single “Fanfare” with Korean boy band SF9 (FNC) , co-written with Albin Nordqvist, which got to #6 on the GAON chart in Korea, #12 in Taiwan and #4 in Japan.
In August 2017 her co-written song “Holiday” was released as one of the lead songs for the 10th year anniversary album from Kpop legends Girls Generation (SM Entertainment). The album has sold over 170.000 units physically, and topped the iTunes album chart worldwide, as well as the Billboard World Albums chart. The song has in 2022 close to 20 million Spotify streams and 52 million youtube views.
Then followed cuts with Japanese artists Kumi Koda and Sexy Zone, as well as successful placements in South Korea with Pristin V (24 million Spotify streamer “Get it”), JBJ95 title track “Awake”, IZ*ONE “Nekkoya - Pick Me” (also Produce 48 theme song) Cherry Bullet debut single “Q&A” (also sync’d in Netflix no 1 movie ”To All The Boys I Loved Before –Always And Forever”) and cuts with Twice: “Turn It Up” from “Fancy You”-album and “Love Foolish” from the album “Feel Special”, both achieving platinum awarded sales.
Louise also co-wrote Twice huge Japanese hit and Nike Air TV ad song “Wake Me Up”, which sold double platinum there, and followed up with Twice Japanese no 1 and platinum selling single “Fanfare” in the spring of 2020.
She co-wrote the ballad “Remember Forever” on Red Velvet’s “The ReVe Festival: Finale”, and the single track “Naughty” by Red Velvets sub-unit “Irene & Seulgi” in July 2020.
Louise wrapped up her Japanese release year in December 2019 with a no 1 single hit with Kinki Kids, “Hikari no Kehai”, selling over 190.000 copies, and in September 2020 she landed a co-write for the lead track “&LOVE” on boy band King & Prince’s #1 album “L&”, selling over 550.000 units in its first release week!
Louise spent 2 1/2 months in Seoul in the spring of 2019 and may return in near future for an equally long time, strengthening her relations with writers, producers and companies in the ever so globally expanding Kpop market.
Louise co-wrote BTS member Jung Kook’s original soundtrack single ”Stay Alive”, with production from bandmate SUGA, from Webtoon hit ”7FATES CHAKHO”, making a record breaking #3 entry on Spotify’s Global chart in February.
